We’re Eloping!

We are headed to Wine Country in December to tie the knot on 12/22/2020 and we are so excited! Since our earliest of “wedding talks” - years ago, believe it or not - we both enjoyed the idea of a destination wedding followed by a big party to celebrate upon our return. Acknowledging the bittersweetness of not having so many people we cared about in attendance of the big day, we started playing with the idea and possible guest lists. That evolved into the idea of having a more traditional wedding, which we never truly opposed. We were working through the scenarios shortly after our engagement in January 2020, when all of a sudden 2020 decided it had some plans of its own. Eventually we found ourselves trying to focus on what we really wanted out of a wedding, and as we worked through some hard decisions, we found ourselves happily back to where we started, years ago, dreaming of a destination wedding. Somewhere in between, it occurred to us, as casual wine lovers, that we’ve never been to Napa and the surrounding area. So, we’re making it happen! We will be officially tying the knot in Sonoma, followed by a beautiful (and slightly chilly) holiday mini-moon through Healdsburg, Napa, and finding ourself back to the destination of our first big trip together, San Francisco, with fingers crossed that we get to see a New Years fireworks show over the Bay Bridge.
