Finally!

We are SO excited to finally be able to celebrate with you! It has been a wild and crazy year and a long time coming! As you know, we’ve already run off and tied the knot (thanks Napa!) and all that’s been left to do is have one good, long-awaited, highly anticipated, big ol' party. And so that is precisely what we shall do. Here we go!

For those not familiar with Tallahassee, Alfred B. Maclay Gardens is a beautiful state park right in our backyard. The Gardener’s Cottage is an venue space located within the Gardens.
Your admission to the park is covered, if there is a guard at the entrance booth, simply tell them you are there for the Hornung-Gornick Reception.
Upon entry you will follow signs for the Gardner’s Cottage. It is a little ways into the park. Where you park is a grass lot near the cottage.

Party!

An open bar will be serving drinks for the duration of the evening. (Please tip your bartenders!)
A full dinner will be provided. (Please let us know if you prefer a fish option in the RSVP!)
A DJ will be spinning the hot jams.
Speaking of hot, the venue is mostly outdoors, and it will be an August evening in Florida. We will have tents for shade several fans to keep a breeze, but keep the weather in mind.

Kids

We have met most of your kiddos and truly enjoy their company! However, considering the propensity for various shenanigans on this evening, we respectfully ask that you leave them with their grandparents, crazy aunt/uncle, or qualified babysitter for this event.

Accomodations

We have scheduled two sets of room blocks for your utmost convenience - one near the venue and one near the area where we will likely be Friday evening and potentially Saturday night after the venue kicks us out.
Regardless of your choice, an Uber between the farthest points is only about $15 (Tally is a small town with a big heart) and we highly recommend it.
